Fish Dinners

On the six Fridays of Lent (excluding Good Friday), St. Albert the Great's popular and famous fish dinners offer rewarding opportunities to unwind at the end of the work week and feast on great home-made meals.  Dinners include fried or baked fish, potatoes mashed with cheese and spices or hashed-brown wedges, coleslaw, spaghetti with marinara sauce, desserts, and beverages. All food is made fresh by parish staff and volunteers and feeds many hundreds of individuals from the parish and the greater community each Friday.

Fish Dinners also include BINGO in the gym from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, several kinds of raffles, and booths. We also serve up plentiful conversation and a joyful, welcoming atmosphere.  In 2006 City Pages named St. Albert the Great's fish dinners the best fish fry in the Twin Cities, and this celebrated event was later highlighted by KARE11!

This year's dinners begin on February 19 and continue through March 26.  Adult tickets are $10, Seniors (65+) are $9. Children 6-12 eat for $5, and those 5 and under eat free.  Dinners are served from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
