Ash Wednesday

Mass with distribution of ashes will be held at 8:15 am and 7 pm.

Fish Dinners coming in February!

Start planning now! Our famous Lenten Friday Fish Dinners begin Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. We serve from 4:30 to 7:30 pm: fried and baked tilapia, with mashed or hash brown potatoes, meatless spaghetti, cole slaw, rolls, homemade desserts and beverages. Mini-raffles, Bingo from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, cash raffles. Our diners say we're GREAT -- come try for yourself and bring a friend. Adults $10, Seniors (65+) $9, children 6-12 $5. Kids under 5 eat free.

Extra parking is available in the Anne Sullivan school lot one block north on E. 28th street near 33rd Ave. S. Our Parish bus runs a regular circle between parking lot and accessible entry all evening.

Pathways Foundation Grant

Pathways Foundation, a Chicago based not for profit, is affirming the outstanding inclusion efforts of St. Albert's with a 3011 Open Hearts Award grant. Our nomination demonstrated outstanding leadership in welcoming individuals of all abilities into active participation. Pathways Foundation supports our desire to expand our inclusion efforts with a cash grant of $250 to help modify the second bathroom in the entrance with a comfort height toilet.

Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross will be held at 3:45 pm every Friday starting February 24 through March 30th. On April 6, Stations of the Cross will be at 3 pm.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is on the first Friday of each month, from 9 am to noon. Please join us in quiet prayer.

'We Care' Outreach Schedule

St. Albert's "We Care" Outreach Ministry is a volunteer-run program which is currently offered 3 times each month. Twelve people per time can be given the temporary help of $40 worth of grocery or Target gift cards, bus cards, or $20 vouchers for the Fare For All Express program which provides fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen meats once a month. Clients are asked to limit their visits to once every three months, and must provide a valid state or tribal photo ID. Suggestions of help available by other programs and social service agencies are also provided. Call the Parish Center at 612-724-3643 for information about upcoming dates and times for this ministry.
