As we know Jesus Christ would, we embrace a wide range of people. We represent a variety of races, abilities, viewpoints and orientations. We welcome people of all faith traditions here. We are single, divorced, married, widowed, gay, lesbian, straight, in traditional and non-traditional families, young and old, some with wealth, some without - and nearly all knowing we are better off for having one another.
If you already are a member of our community, or once were, or perhaps might like to be, please use this web site to keep in touch. Please contact us to let us know how to reach you.
Book Fair on Sept. 18 and 19
| 1 |
St. Albert's Book Fair on September 18 will feature a sale of used and collectible books for all ages, including volumes from the collections of the late Dominican priests Cletus Wessels and Dan Ostdiek. The sale is Saturday from 9 am to 6:30 pm, and Sunday, Sept. 19 from 9 am to 1:30 pm. On Saturday, we'll have a special focus on children and families, with story readers throughout the morning and drawings for new children's books. At 1 pm, come listen to one of the Longfellow neighborhood's favorite Celtic characters, Bill Watkins, as he reads from his several books about Scotland and his Celtic childhood. Bill will also sell and sign his books. At 3 pm, Glenn Keitel will speak about the creation of his new book "Scene from the Sidewalk" about Twin Cities architectutre and monuments. Glenn will also be available to sell and sign copies.
