Pathways Foundation Grant

Pathways Foundation, a Chicago based not for profit, is affirming the outstanding inclusion efforts of St. Albert's with a 3011 Open Hearts Award grant. Our nomination demonstrated outstanding leadership in welcoming individuals of all abilities into active participation. Pathways Foundation supports our desire to expand our inclusion efforts with a cash grant of $250 to help modify the second bathroom in the entrance with a comfort height toilet.

Cribbage Tournament

On Sunday, May 20th, there will be a Cribbage Tournament at 1:30 pm in the Social Hall. There is a $10 entrance fee that provides you with free beverages, snacks and the chance to take home some prizes from local sponsors. There will be trophies for 1st place for adults and child (16 and under). Please bring a cribbage board and deck of cards. The proceeds will benefit the Tubman shelters for women.

'We Care' Outreach Schedule

St. Albert's "We Care" Outreach Ministry is a volunteer-run program which is currently offered 3 times each month. Twelve people per time can be given the temporary help of $40 worth of grocery or Target gift cards, bus cards, or $20 vouchers for the Fare For All Express program which provides fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen meats once a month. Clients are asked to limit their visits to once every three months, and must provide a valid state or tribal photo ID. Suggestions of help available by other programs and social service agencies are also provided. Call the Parish Center at 612-724-3643 for information about upcoming dates and times for this ministry.
